Guten Tag! I’m Francis Collins, I had the privilege of leading the ‘Human Genome Project’, which produced a lot of new knowledge for humanity. That was knowledge from particular sort: our DNA instruction book. But you all are gathered to pursue an important and related task; to enable the best decisions about sustainable development and climate change education. What’s needed is evidence-based knowledge for teachers, for policy makers, for government officials. It needs to be accessible; it needs to be user-friendly, and it needs to be accurate.
